Lund University School of Aviation announces the release of the second report on Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL), with the name “The MPL Part II: The MPL Data - Capturing the Experience”. The report analyses the situation for the MPL training concept in the aviation industry and provides recommendations for how it can be further developed. This report is a continuation of a previous report on MPL by the same authors in 2014, which was named “The Multi Crew Pilot License (MPL) – Evolution, Revolution or not even a Solution?”
A Review and Analysis of MPL
This study is a review and analysis of the Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL), which was introduced by the International Civil Aviation Organisation in 2006 as an alternative to traditional pilot training.
The report is summarised with recommendations to current training providers interested in using the results of this study to improve their MPL training.
